Marijuana

Our Mission

Our goal is to help Bevo Mill residents navigate Missouri's medical cannabis program with clear information and convenient access to qualified medical professionals.

Bevo Mill has its own distinctive identity within South St. Louis. The neighborhood developed around transportation routes, clay mining, German settlement, and the Gravois and Morgan Ford commercial crossroads. Its namesake windmill remains a recognizable symbol of the neighborhood today.

Whether someone lives near Chippewa Street, Christy Boulevard, Morgan Ford Road, Gravois Avenue, or farther south toward Holly Hills Boulevard, the Missouri medical marijuana application requirements remain the same.

Our role is to make those requirements easier to understand.

Who We Are

Our patient resources are designed for people at different stages of Missouri's medical marijuana process.

Some may be applying for their first card. Others may be preparing for renewal, requesting cultivation authorization, assisting a minor patient, or simply trying to determine whether telemedicine is available.

Bevo Mill's history also gives the neighborhood a distinct character. According to the City of St. Louis, the area remained largely rural until clay deposits helped fuel development beginning in the nineteenth century. German immigrants working in the area's mines later established homes and businesses, particularly around Gravois and Morgan Ford.

Our goal is to pair that local context with accurate Missouri medical cannabis information instead of producing a generic St. Louis page with the neighborhood name inserted.

Our Commitment

Easy-to-Follow Certification Steps: Patients should understand where the medical consultation fits into the larger Missouri application process.

Respect for Personal and Medical Privacy: Patient medical information should be handled responsibly and confidentially during the consultation and certification process.

Guidance Focused on Missouri Law: Our information is based specifically on Missouri's medical cannabis program rather than requirements borrowed from other states.

Assistance Based on Each Patient's Situation: A first-time patient, caregiver, cultivation applicant, renewing patient, and parent of a minor may each have different questions and requirements.

Joining Hands with the Community

Bevo Mill's community identity extends beyond its namesake windmill.

The City of St. Louis lists Christy Park, Joe Leisure Park, and Carondelet Park among the recreational spaces associated with the neighborhood. Gravois Avenue and Morgan Ford Road have also played an important role in the area's development and remain recognizable corridors through this part of South St. Louis.

Medical cannabis education should similarly extend beyond explaining how to obtain a card.

Patients should understand purchasing and possession limits, home cultivation requirements, public consumption restrictions, impaired-driving laws, and renewal responsibilities.

Missouri does not allow public consumption of marijuana, and Article XIV does not permit driving or operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.

Our Vision

We want qualifying Bevo Mill residents to have an understandable and convenient path through Missouri's medical marijuana certification process.

From the initial medical consultation to the online application and eventual renewal, patients should understand what is required and what action comes next.

Our aim is to provide useful neighborhood-focused information while encouraging responsible participation in Missouri's regulated medical cannabis program.
